Visitors, including children of all ages, are always welcome, and we encourage you to visit frequently. For the benefit of all entrusted to our care, we ask that you do not visit if you have influenza (flu) symptoms, cold symptoms, respiratory symptoms, or another contagious illness.
Please be aware that Schervier is a smoke-free facility and there is no smoking permitted anywhere on the campus.
You are also welcome to bring your well-behaved pet to visit as well. Please be that your pet is current with its vaccinations and is accompanied at all times.
For the safety of all residents, it is important for you to sign in and out of the facility at the security desk. Please use the main entrance when you visit. All other doors are restricted to keycard access by staff.
Note: We ask that you do not visit if you have influenza (flu) symptoms, cold symptoms, respiratory symptoms, or another contagious illness.
We want you to be able to commemorate moments with your family member or loved one while visiting at Schervier. However, please note—in order to maintain the privacy and protect the dignity of everyone living and working at Schervier—no photographs may be taken of any Schervier patient, resident or staff member, or of Schervier’s premises or grounds, unless in accordance with the Photography Policy (link to PDF attachment).
Please check with our clinical staff before bringing food into the center to share with a resident. Special dietary needs may prevent the resident from consuming certain foods. We also ask that you do not share or provide food-related items to any other resident other than your family member without permission from the nursing staff due to possible dietary or swallowing restrictions for that resident.
