It is my great pleasure to share with you the programs and services of Bon Secours New York Health System. We are a nonprofit, Catholic healthcare provider and part of the larger Bon Secours Healthcare System. The sisters of Bon Secours began their ministry in the late 1800s and continue today providing Good Help To Those in NeedŽ. Our ministry provides a continuum of care to seniors on our campus in Riverdale, New York and throughout the community.

Our nursing home, formerly known as Frances Schervier Home and Hospital, is today Schervier Nursing Care Center offering skilled nursing care, palliative care and hospice services.  In addition, the Schervier Center for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care provides specialized programming for those with dementia, including complementary or alternative medicine.  And, when you need a break from your caregiver duties, Schervier Respite Care can provide private accommodations for your loved one for a short period of time with warm, professional care. Affordable housing is provided for seniors and those with mobility impairment in the Schervier Apartments. Community needs are satisfied through our Burke at Schervier Short-Term Rehabilitation Program which provides therapies to help you recuperate from illnesses and injuries in a healing environment.  And if you want to remain in your home, the Schervier Home Health Care Program can help you do just that.
